What types of goods can you carry?

We handle parcels, documents, pallets, medical samples, legal documents, high-value items, fragile goods, hazardous materials (ADR) and temperature-controlled consignments. If you're unsure, call us and we'll confirm suitability.

/ Booking & dispatch

How do I book a delivery?

Call 07472 680295, email support@emergencydistributions.com or use our live chat. For business customers, we also offer account setup with direct booking by phone or email.

How quickly can a driver be dispatched?

For same-day work we typically dispatch within 60 minutes of booking. Dedicated vehicles can often be with you sooner depending on location and traffic.

Can I set up a business account?

Yes. Business accounts include credit terms on request, dedicated account management and consolidated monthly invoicing. Contact our team to apply.

/ Tracking

How do I track my parcel?

Go to the Track page and enter your tracking number. You'll see live status updates, current location and the full delivery history.

Do I get proof of delivery?

Yes. Every delivery includes electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) with signature, time stamp and location. This is sent to you by email automatically.

Can I see my past deliveries?

If you have a customer account, your dashboard shows all parcels linked to your email address, including current, completed and cancelled shipments.

/ Pallet Day Run

What is the Pallet Day Run?

A scheduled weekday collection and delivery service for palletised freight. Book by 4pm, we collect the next working day, and your pallet is delivered the following working day as standard.

What pallet sizes do you accept?

Quarter (up to 250kg), half (up to 500kg), full (up to 1000kg) and oversize/non-standard pallets. Oversize loads are priced individually.

Can I book a weekend or timed pallet delivery?

Yes. Saturday delivery and timed AM options are available by arrangement. These may carry a surcharge depending on the postcode and service level.

/ Pricing & payment

How is pricing calculated?

Same-day and dedicated prices are based on distance, vehicle size and urgency. Pallet Day Run prices are based on pallet size, service level and any optional extras such as remote postcode, Saturday or tail-lift.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. We provide clear, upfront quotes before every job. Any surcharges — such as remote areas, hazardous goods or timed delivery — are explained in advance.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card and business account invoicing. Payment terms for approved business accounts are agreed during setup.

/ Insurance & claims

Are my goods insured?

Yes. Every shipment is covered by our goods-in-transit insurance up to £100,000. Higher-value cover can be arranged on request.

What happens if something is damaged or lost?

Report any issue to us immediately. We will investigate, raise the claim with our insurers and keep you updated throughout the process.

Are your drivers vetted?

All drivers are DBS-checked, fully insured and experienced. Medical and sensitive consignments are only handled by drivers trained for those specific requirements.
